Topic How to keep your promises. Combining UX principles and innovation theory to ensure compelling benefits deliver for consumers
Abstract

Successfully delivering new, compelling, and engaging experiences requires an effective combination of both innovation and user experience expertise. Innovation looks at evolving markets and consumers to identify new products and services with the best bundle of benefits to deliver compelling new experiences. User experience shapes the detailed interactions users have with products and services so that experiences are useful, usable and engaging. Bringing innovation and user experience experts together early in the product development process ensures great opportunities are not lost because experience was an afterthought. In this thought-provoking talk, Simon will detail the unique way GfK has married market and UX research for clients during new product and service development.
